Gather4Humanity
Upon launching the website in January, I could not have imagined the amount of weekly traffic that it would attract. It strengthens my belief in the overall vision and mission. The interest gives me confidence to continue building for a thriving community of partners, experts and supporters. So far, focus has been on setting up routines and sharing insights on global efforts to counter core international crimes. The monthly Core International Crimes-Update has been shared in order to guarantee oversight to subscribers. But, there is so much more to come. A recap: what has happened behind the scenes and what’s next.
What happened?
- partnering with the Nuhanovic Foundation, Center for War Reparations for a new initiative
- joining the board of advisors of the Yazidi Legal Network
- joining relevant expert rosters
- joining the Humanity Hub Community of Practice on Sustainable Development Goal 16
- learning from best-practices, feedback and lessons learned from so many dedicated and impact driven professionals and institutions
- collecting data, resources and content and exploring ways to provide access
- establishing an overall strategy and a strategy on the 4 core activities with the aim to enable practical implementation and to share them with partners
- preparation for opening the digital community
What’s next?
As the routines are set and the ideas have are ready for practical implementation, now it’s time to concentrate on:
- adjust the website in accordance with obtained feedback, best-practices and lessons learned
- opening of the digital community
- providing access to content, resources and data
- expand the number of followers and members and build a coalition to further the vision and mission and guarentee a sustainable social enterprise
- start helping partners

Assignments
After setting up the strategy, organisation and routines, I would now love to embark on rendering support to partners. This can be done in various ways:
- Dissemination activities related to International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law
- Interim or consultancy assignments
- Research or investigation assignments
- Advising like-minded organisations
- Enhancing cross-sector cooperation
- Or just by discussing tailored solutions to your challenges
